Who We Are

Friends of Alpine Branch Library (FOABL).

The Friends are a Not-For-Profit Organization composed entirely of Volunteers who are engaged in a wide variety of fund-raising projects to assist the Alpine Branch Library.

What We Do

We encourage inquiring, imagining, dreaming, creating, and discovering.
We promote community awareness of library services.
We raise funds to purchase equipment and materials not available through the regular library budget.

What You Can Do

You can participate in a variety of ways, as noted on the Be a Friend page.

The Alpine Branch Library serves suburban and rural areas northwest of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The library is part of the Kent District Library system.
